DIVISION 30
WELCOMES
2003 KORU CARE KIDS
WORLD TOUR
The Koru kids
will be visiting the Orange County and LA County area from Thursday, September
11 through Thursday, September 18. On Saturday, September 13, Division 30
Clubs will be hosting a All American Bar-Be-Que at Breaker's Park at
Knott's Berry Farm. Lt. Gov. Sandy would like to get at least two members
from each club to the bar-be-que. After
the bar-be-que, clowns will be performing for the kids followed by a
professional magician. Before
and after the bar-be-que, the kids will be touring the different amusement parks
in the area. This is were we need the Kiwanians, Circle K'ers and Key
Clubbers to help escort the kids around. A few of the kids will be in
wheel chairs so we need some strong backs. It's a little tough for one
chaperon to lift some one all day. Below
are the amusement parks that will be visited and the dates. Sponsored
youth chaperons will have their admission paid, however, Kiwanians will need to
take care of their own admission fees. Any questions, please contact Warren Heer at VandTHeer@aol.com.
