DIVISION 30
WELCOMES
2003 KORU CARE KIDS
WORLD TOUR PHOTO PAGE
On September
14, 2003, the Kiwanis Clubs of Division 30 (California-Nevada-Hawaii District of
Kiwanis International) hosted 20 kids and their adult chaperons to lunch at
Knott's Berry Farm.
The kids were
treated to bar-be-qued hot dogs and hamburgers, followed by a gift presentation
from Sears Buena Park. After the gifts were open, the kids were then entertained
by balloon making clowns, followed by a magician who performed close-up magic
for the kids.
After lunch, Nicholas
and Ryan, were taken to Ostrum Chevrolet where Kiwanian Ted
Segawa gave
them a ride in his classic Corvette String Ray and then a ride in a brand new
2003 year model. Thanks
to Lt. Governor Sandy Heer and Division 30 for providing lunch and to Ted
Segawa
for the Corvette rides. Below
are some of photos of lunch and the Corvette rides. Click on the small
