Every year, thousands of sponsored
youth, Kiwanians, friends and family assemble in Pasadena to decorate the
floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade. As a token of our
appreciation, Kiwanis divisions and clubs volunteer to feed the
decorators. This year, Division 30 provided lunch to the decorators
on December 15. Regrettably, the event was not well supported
by clubs in Division 30.
Thanks to Kiwanis members from Brea
and La Habra Kiwanis Clubs and friends for supporting our efforts and
feeding a lunch of chili dogs, chips, fruit and a soft drink.
Kiwanis members include event coordinator Don Hull (Brea), Scott Schaffer
and Margaret (Brea), Cynthia Holberg (La Habra) and our perennial hot dog
chef, Richard Arguilo (La Habra).
