THE KIWANIS FAMILY
CHOC CHILD LIFE WORKROOM PROPOSAL

In its continuing mission to nurture, advance, and protect the health and well-being of children, and to make Orange County and the surrounding areas the one of the safest and healthiest places for children in the nation, CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) respectfully requests that the Kiwanis Family Region 3 (Divisions 4, 30 and 41) consider making a philanthropic gift of $100,000 payable over a 5 year period.

How we going to do it?  Click here.

Kiwanis Children's Play Room
at CHOC

Mike Fields told of a Region 3 wide opportunity to name the Kiwanis Children’s Play Room at the new CHOC Hospital in Orange.

Each club is asked to consider this project and reply to its respective Lt. Governor in a timely fashion because other supporters have voiced interest in this location.

Kiwanis One Day

On April 2, Kiwanians from Division 30  met at the Boys & Girls Club facility in Brea and created over two hundred cards for the 2,500 members of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit as Phase I of this year’s Kiwanis One Day project.

Phase II includes the ongoing collection of personal items for the 500 unmarried Marines in this unit. At the April DCM, Shirley McCracken circulated the list of items to be collected by each club in Division 30 for ultimate packaging and transporting to Camp Pendleton.
