Meetings
Scheduled
Please come to a meeting and find out what
Kiwanis is all about and how we “Serve the Children of the World.”
We would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have
about Kiwanis, our projects and how you can get involved.
The group in Placentia meets at 7:15 AM on the
first and third Thursdays of each month at the IHOP located at
Kraemer and Chapman, across from City Hall.
Heritage Days
October 15

Kiwanis group worked under the
auspices of the Boys & Girls Club at this event, providing labor
to the Boys & Girls Club, helping to check IDs and sell wrist
bands for alcoholic beverages
In addition, the Kiwanis group sold
prepackaged snacks and soft drinks from the same proximate area.
Chick-Fil-A provided food and staff from about 3:00 PM through the
end of the concert that followed the Heritage Days festivities.
Chick-Fil-A will prepare box lunches comprised of a chicken
sandwich, a bag of chips, and a brownie. Separate individual
chicken sandwiches would also be available. A portion of the
profits would come back to the Kiwanis group.
