Making
Lunch Every
year, Division 30 supports the decorating efforts for the Kiwanis Rose
Float by providing a delicious lunch for the float decorators. This
year, Kiwanians and Sponsored Youth members can help prepare the lunch on
Thursday, December 26, 2002 at the La Habra Community Center, located at
the corner of Euclid Street and La Habra Boulevard, La Habra. The
festivities start at 6:00 p.m. For more information on this,
please contact Cynthia Holmberg. Serving
Lunch On
the following day, December 27, 2002, we will be car pooling from the La
Habra Community Center to serve lunch to the 400 float decorators.
If you would like to help serve lunch, please contact Cynthia
Holmberg. Raising
Funds Thousands
of dollars are raised annually for the construction of the float with the
sale of souvenir pins and clothing. To arrange for someone to come
by your Kiwanis club and make these items available, contact Cynthia
Holmberg. Clubs
and individual can also contribute directly to the building of the
float. For more information on that, click
